Private Structure Customizations
IntroductionCustom structure requests allow you to have additions made to your private structure. All such requests are submitted in-game and paid for in credits. Tradesman certificates are no longer valid for structure customizations of any kind unless otherwise indicated; their only remaining uses are purchasing additional private stores or modifying things that have previously been paid for with game currency.
Where To Go
The Interstellar Construction Agency handles all custom structure requests. It is located on Aquatimis.
What Qualifies
Private space stations, moons, and planets are eligible for structure customization, which costs 1,000,000,000 credits. Requests must be reasonable, make sense, and be thematically appropriate. Examples of accepted requests include:
* Additional docking bays
* Custom landing messages (these are on a per-structure basis, not per-docking bay.)
* Custom ITPN transport
* Multiples of an existing parent (a second observation room, an additional pool, food storage, and so on)
* Custom vehicles that shuttle people between segments of your structure
* Room modifications, such as setting rooms as fishable or having them spawn seashells
* Environmental room messages
* Escalators (including any custom messages associated with them.)
Room modifications were previously requested with a tradesman certificate, capped at ten rooms. They are now handled by the Agency, and a single paid request covers up to twenty room modifications.
Additionally, room modifications must suit the room's existing type. A beach room that generates seashells may also be made fishable, since both fit a beach. A room serving as an observation room will not be made fishable.
Lifts
Lift construction costs 500,000,000 credits, plus 100,000,000 credits for each stop the lift serves.
Additional Private Stores
Additional private stores are one of two exceptions to the above. They are not available through the Agency and remain a tradesman certificate item, available only once you have reached the coded limit of stores your structure supports. The same rules that govern paid store requests apply. Do not submit a request for a store here; it will be rejected.
Other Exceptions
The only other exception to the no tradesman request for structure modifications rule is updating existing modifications. For example, you've asked for a ferry that takes people on a boat ride to other parts of your private moon. However, in the initial paid request, you forgot a few minor details. We will, in this instance, allow a tradesman request be used to correct this oversight.
House Modifications
Houses are eligible for very few modifications. We allow lifts and a few other things where thematically appropriate. Some of these include ferries, provided there is a body of water on the property that is indicated by room names and is appropriate for the planet the house is on, room messages, house menus (similar to food robots with no object to show for it) and anything else that is at the discression of the hosts.
What Doesn't Qualify
Requests that require moderate to extensive rewriting of existing system code, or entirely new verbs to function, will be rejected. What counts as too complex is at the discretion of the hosts. There is no way to buy your way around a rejection; a certificate will not obtain a customization where previously it would have been approved, and neither will a donation.
If Your Request Is Rejected
You will receive a letter in the mail explaining the rejection, along with a full refund of the credits you spent.

An NPC inside the Agency will answer questions not covered here.
