SOOC
Syntax:SOOC [<message> | ON | OFF]
Description:
SOOC is the ship/structure OOC command. It functions in much the same way as the PA command, with the notable exception being that it is entirely out of character. It should never be used to communicate in character information. The command is available on structures, regardless of whether there is a public address system microphone present or not. If the PA has been disabled by any means, this command will become unavailable. Using a : (colon) in front of your message will cause it to be emoted. Please use out of character emotes on this channel rather than enacting them in character to prevent confusion. In ships, you will notice that the command automatically says ship-wide, and in houses, private stations, moons and planets, the command will say structure-wide to differentiate between the two.
Examples:
>SOOC My fish has been eating nonstop. Now it's dead. :(
Output: [ You shatter immersion ship-wide and say, "My fish has been eating nonstop. Now it's dead. :(" ]
>SOOC Bountiful amounts of turkey adorn my dinner table, but I fear one of the plates is poisoned!
Output: [ You shatter immersion structure-wide and say, "Bountiful amounts of turkey adorn my dinner table, but I fear one of the plates is poisoned!" ]
>SOOC :raises a mighty trout above his head, bringing it down with a resounding smack on Mitchell's upturned face.
